TERMS: Terms o= f the sale are cash or check and are payable to NWSS immediately upon conclusion = of the sale before animals will be removed from the National Western Stock Show grounds. All sales are final!= Sale Manager (NWSS) reserves the r= ight to require a certified check as settlement before releasing any cattle. Anyone issuing a check with insuff= icient funds or wrongfully stopping payment on a check after taking animals off the NWSS grounds will be dealt with accordingly under Colorado Law. Checks will be cleared through the= Check 21 process with the Bank.

BUYERS & SELLERS RISK:&= nbsp; All animals are the seller’s risk prior to their sale. All animals in the sale become the immediate property of the buyer as soon as declared sold by the auctioneer.= All buyers are expected to recogni= ze this fact of their ownership and accept full responsibility of that animal.=

BIDDING: Each = animal will be sold to the highest bidder. Any disputes or challenges regarding bids or tie bids will be settle= d by the auctioneer and his decision will be final.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Cattle sell as stated. Any errors or changes in informati= on contained in this catalog will be announced from the block and such announcements shall take precedence over the catalog information.

HEALTH: all animals shall be eligible for interstate shipment. Interstate health p= apers prepared by a licensed veterinarian will be furnished on each animal sold.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> All animals in this offering must = meet all of the health requirements of the National Western Stock Show for Bruce= llosis and TB and be tested for Scabies as stated in the Livestock Premium Book.

BREEDING GUARANTEE: For each heifer entry, the exhibitor must present a health certifica= te issued by a licensed veterinarian stating that the heifers are open or bred. The certificate must be issued within 14 days prior to the show and sale. If there is no certificate, the he= ifers will be pregnancy checked at the seller’s expense. Seller represents heifers as they = are for current and future breeding purposes.

Description:

This is an excellent set = of March born heifers. They are a cross-section of the Walter Angus commercial cow h= erd. These heifers come from cows that are tough and rugged, who are almost never fed hay. They are real foragers. These heifers were unassisted at birth, summered in Granby, Colora= do, running between 8,000-8,750 feet elevation and weaned the first week of Sep= tember.

After weaning, they were = put right back out on large dry-land grass pastures and have only been in the d= ry lot since December 11, 2009 receiving a hay ration only. Grain, silage and expensive supplements are not fed at any point in our heifer development. <= /p>

Breeding

The sires we use are crit= ically selected for moderate birth weight, disposition, structural soundness, milk, udder, easy fleshing and marbling. The sires of these particular heifers are from WXW Mytty In Fo= cus sons. The dams’ sires are WXW New Design 036 sons. You can expect the= se heifers to mature early, thrive in most environments and make excellent mothers. Our cattle perform both on the range and on a grid.

Our standard immunization= program includes BVD, IBR, BRSV and PI3; Pasturella haemolytica; Clostridia 7 way; H= aemophilus somnus; Leptrospria/Vibrio= ; including the “new” Leptrospria borgpetersenii serovar hardjo bovis. Profile on our he= ifer calves

All of the heifer calves we= re born in February 2009. The mothers of these heifer calves are two year old daugh= ters of our leading Angus herd sire Sinclair <= st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Mountain <= st1:PlaceType w:st=3D"on">Pass 4P138.

These heifer calves are all= sired by Redland Napolean 2475 who is a Culver Cattle= herd sire.

These bred heifers are rugged, deep, thick, low maintenance, maternal power-houses that should produce stand-out calves. Wa= lter Angus starts will the development of a good forage-harvester that will rais= e a high quality calf that grows without the need of expensive feed. Grain, sil= age, and expensive supplements are not fed at any point of our heifer developmen= t.

The sires we use are critically selected for moderate birth weight, disposition, structural soundness, milk, udder, easy fleshing and marbling. These are Leachman Right = Time X New Design 036 bred heifers that were born unassisted from cows that ne= ver miss. As 2008 calves, they were summered in Tie Siding, WY at 8500’ p= lus elevation. They were artificially inseminated May 27 through June 6, 2009 (= on a natural heat) to our #1 proven, calving-ease AI sire - WXW Nebraska 94 G140. This bull has a -0.6 BW EPD. These heifers preg= -checked safe for March calving.

After breeding, they were pastured this summer at 8000’ elevation in Fraser, Colorado= . This fall, they have been on corn stalks and were pulled off on January 2, = 2010 and have been on a grass, alfalfa and triticale hay ration.
